For the "Intersolar 2009" LuzLicht created and presented the following innovative product for the worldbanks initiative "fight poverty with education."

Load by day, in the evening read or work - that is the use for the suit-case-light “LE-Solar-KF”.

Equipped with a 12 Wp module, an 12 Ah battery and a lamp with 4 HighPower LEDs the lamp gives light for approx. 6 hours for workplace or for reading.

During daytime the closed suit-case is placed in the sun for 12 hours for charging. In the evening the opened suit-case can be transformed into a table-light. With 700 Lux at 1 m distance it gives an excellent light for working.

The light is supplied in 3 variations:

1) Swivel arm, turnable 360°, heights adjustable, light foot in the suit-case

2) LED strip in the luggage cover: Open, align, and light

3) Non fixed lamp with mounting plate and 2.5 m cables: Position lamp at arbitrary place, connect plugs with suit-case and switch it on.

The suit-case is equipped with a stretcher belt, so that light and loading unit can be transported to any place. Charging stations for cell-telephones can be attached to the plug in the suit-case, along with other 12 V-consumers.
